# Installing in Slack

> Install Parity in your Slack Workspace

## Prerequisites

We recommend installing remediator first, as Parity is designed to work with information from your infrastructure. Instructions for installing it are [here](/quickstart).

## Installation

Once you've installed remediator, follow [this link](https://app.tryparity.com/integrations/slack) which will redirect to the slack installation.

After installing the Parity Slack app, you can interact with the Parity chatbot by mentioning **@Parity** in a message or thread.
